Our cattle in front of Rüti Hütte (ca. 2008)
Rüti Hütte has been in our family’s possession since 1946. For generations, the hut was used as a stable for goats, cattle, and later sheep.
To this day, the meadow around the hut is used extensively in summer. In autumn, the land is grazed by sheep, and in winter, the ski slope runs right in front of the hut.
The hut during renovation (summer 2017)
In 2017, the major renovation took place, transforming the old stable into the new Rüti Hütte. The original front wall and the size of the building were preserved.
The renovated Rüti Hütte in operation (2018)
The hut was rented out and operated externally for five years.
In December, the re-opening took place, and from now on, the hut is operated by the owner’s family and their team.
